Yeast Cells as a Model of Us All
An interview with Anne Rosenwald
July 27, 2009

Yeast cells are an ideal model to study human cells, and Dr. Anne Rosenwald works with them to observe submicroscopic phenomena.  She investigates how membrane-bound compartments act like rooms within houses, and how those compartments communicate with one another.  She is also Co-Director of the new major in Biology of Global Health, and she discusses how her research addresses world issues.
