James V. Schall, S.J. Award 2009
Address by recipient Dr. Leon Kass
March 23, 2009

Dr. Leon Kass is the 2009 recipient of the Father James V. Schall, S.J. award for Teaching and Humane Letters. In receiving the award, Dr. Kass gave an address highlighting the meaning and importance of human dignity at all stages of life. Dr. Kass is the former chairman of the President's Council on Bioethics under President George W. Bush.

This event was sponsored by the Tocqueville Forum on the Roots of American Democracy.
