Father Thomas Reese, S.J. on Faith Complex
A conversation with Father Thomas Reese, S.J. hosted by Jacques Berlinerblau
June 10, 2009

"There's the ongoing controversy about Obama going to Notre Dame to give the commencement address. That's been criticized by over twenty-five US bishops now. The bishops have been basically tricked into opposing the visit by people who were really Republican activists who work under the veil of pro-life organizations."

In this episode of Faith Complex, Father Thomas J. Reese, S.J., discusses the interplay of the American president, the Catholic Church, and Catholic voters. He talks in depth about the role of Catholic voters in electing President Obama in 2008. Father Reese is the Senior Research Fellow at the Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown University.

Faith Complex is hosted by Jacques Berlinerblau, produced by Thomas Banchoff, and presented by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs and the Program for Jewish Civilization at Georgetown University.
