Asra Nomani on Faith Complex: Episode 2
A continued discussion with Asra Nomani hosted by Jacques Berlinerblau
May 21, 2009

"I want people to take back their mosques. I really do. I want them to believe that they have a right to fight for a brand of Islam that is progressive and that allows for women's rights."

In this second episode of "Faith Complex," host Jacques Berlinerblau continues his discussion with Asra Nomani about her experience as a woman in Islam and her attempts to reform her mosque in Morgantown, West Virginia. Ms. Nomani is a journalist and the subject of a PBS documentary entitled, "The Mosque in Morgantown."

Faith Complex is hosted by Jacques Berlinerblau, produced by Thomas Banchoff, and presented by The Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affiars and the Program for Jewish Civilization at Georgetown University.
