Asra Nomani on Faith Complex: Episode 1
A discussion with Asra Nomani hosted by Jacques Berlinerblau
May 19, 2009

"After September 11 I went to Pakistan to report...By accident I fell in love, as happens, and soon after I discovered that I was pregnant. I was a criminal in the eyes of Islam."

Professor Jacques Berlinerblau, the host of "Faith Complex," talks with Asra Nomani, a journalist and the subject of a PBS documentary entitled "The Mosque in Morgantown." They also discuss Ms. Nomani's book, "Standing Alone in Mecca." This is the first of two episodes with Ms. Nomani.

The series "Faith Complex" is produced by Professor Thomas Banchoff, and presented by The Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs and The Program for Jewish Civilization at Georgetown University.
