Georgetown to Host 2nd Annual Gender in the Workplace Research Competition

WHAT:

Georgetown University’s Women’s Leadership Initiative (GUWLI) presents the 2nd Annual Gender in the Workplace Research Competition and Awards Luncheon

WHEN:
Monday, April 6th, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Research Competition (9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)
Georgetown students and alumni will present their latest research on topics related to gender in the workplace. A distinguished panel of academics, journalists and successful businesswomen will choose a winner.

Awards Luncheon (12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
District of Columbia Public Schools Chancellor Michelle Rhee, will accept the GUWLI’s annual Making a Difference award and deliver the keynote address.
