What Ancient Ecology Reveals About the World Today
An interview with Timothy Beach

Dr. Timothy Beach specializes in geoarchaeology, soil research and environmental change, and he studies the physical history of the earth.  Today he explains paleoecology, and discusses what the ancient natural world might tell us about global warming, water supplies, and the environment, and what facts from the earth’s distant past or from its obscure present mean for us now.
