Georgetown University to Host Annual, Area Undergraduate Research Conference
Dr. Frank M. Torti, Former Acting FDA Commissioner, to keynote

WHAT: Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies—a part of Georgetown University Medical Center—is hosting the seventh annual Undergraduate Research Conference where students from the Washington, D.C., metropolitan region will showcase their health- and science-related research projects.
More than 55 student participants represent Georgetown University, Catholic University of America, George Mason University, and George Washington University. Frank M. Torti, M.D., M.P.H., former acting commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, will provide the keynote address at the two-day conference.

**Thursday, April 2, 2009 Bunn Intercultural Center Auditorium Keynote Address: Dr. Frank M. Torti 6:45 p.m.
**Friday, April 3, 2009 Riggs Library (Healy Hall, 3rd Floor) Research Poster Presentations and Judging 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Oral Presentations 12:15-1 p.m. Awards Presentation 2 p.m.
