Georgetown's Africa Interest Network (GAIN) and Physicians for Human Rights are hosting a discussion, “It's Not Over: Global AIDS Funding in an Era of Uncertainty” featuring an introduction by Mark Dybul and lecture by Peter Mugyenyi, who will be speaking about his work at JCRC on HIV prevention, care and treatment, and his perspective on the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). In particular, he will speak to PEPFAR's contributions and areas for further refinement, and will comment on the implications of the global economic crisis for existing programs and future initiatives. |
