Georgetown to Host Discussion on Challenges Facing President Obama in the Muslim World
WHO:

Leading experts on American policy towards the Muslim world will discuss what Obama needs to do in order to fulfill his inaugural address pledge to “seek a new way forward, based on mutual interest and mutual respect."

The panelists include:

John Esposito, director of the Prince Alwaleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding and professor, Georgetown University
Hisham Melhem, first journalist to interview Barack Obama as President, Al-Arabiya
Aaron David Miller, public policy scholar, Woodrow Wilson Center
Paula Newberg, director, Institute for the Study of Diplomacy, Georgetown University
• Moderated by John Voll, associate director of the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, Georgetown University.

• “Afghanistan and Pakistan: Political borders, military boundaries, cross-border insurgencies and borderless policies” (Paula Newberg)
