The Department of Health Systems Administration at Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies—a part of Georgetown University Medical Center—is hosting a major academic forum on evidence-based design in hospital facilities as a means of improving health care quality. Perkins+Will, an international health care architectural firm, is sponsoring the forum.
Carolyn Clancy, M.D., director of the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, will deliver the keynote presentation at the event, which also includes speakers from academe and other well-known health care executives.
