During the recent presidential elections, the candidates highlighted the growing need and unprecedented opportunity for national service. On Thursday, November 13, Georgetown’s Center for Social Justice and Center for Public and Nonprofit Leadership will welcome leaders from the Corporation for National and Community Service—the agency that administers AmericaCorps, VISTA, NCCC, Senior Corps, and Learn and Service America—for a discussion on the country’s historic opportunity to make service the solution to America’s toughest challenges. |
