Georgetown to Host Lecture on U.S.-Russian Relations
WHO:

Alfred Kokh, an author, social commentator, mathematician-economist and businessman, served as deputy prime minister under Boris Yeltsin, and was appointed head of Russia’s State Property Committee in 1996. He is author of the book, “A Crate of Vodka,” a Russian bestseller that is due to come out in the United States in the spring of 2009.

WHAT:
The West Cannot Push Russia Away Again: A Lecture by Alfred Kokh

Alfred Kokh, former deputy prime minister of the Russian Federation, will address the Georgetown community about the future of U.S.-Russia relations and the present financial and political crises through the prism of his experience in the Yeltsin government as head of privatization. He will also present an insider's look at the events that shaped Russia and will offer a glimpse of where the country may be headed.
