Daniel Madigan, S.J. discusses the opportunities and challenges of pursuing this process, and elaborates on his own experiences as a facilitator of this dialogue.
Daniel Madigan S.J. is an expert in Islam and Muslim-Christian relations. Professor Madigan is an Australian Jesuit priest who joined Georgetown's Department of Theology in 2008 and will teach in the doctoral program in Religious Pluralism as well as in the undergraduate program. He holds the title of Jeanette W. and Otto J. Ruesch Family Associate Professor. In 2007-8 he was International Visiting Fellow at the Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown, and continues there as a Research Fellow directing a project on Christian theologies that are responsive to Islam.
