An Interview with Bruce Hoffman

Security studies professor Bruce Hoffman discusses the importance of defining the causes of terrorism and communicating with countries and factions involved.

Bruce Hoffman is a professor in the Security Studies Program at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He is a scholar in the area of terrorism and counterterrorism, and he has done extensive fieldwork on the insurgency in Iraq. He serves as an advisor to the U.S. military and Congress on issues pertaining to terrorism and the war in Iraq.
